Inspiring the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals

At MPI Jet, we are dedicated not only to providing exceptional private aircraft charter services but also to fostering the next generation of aviation professionals. Recently, students from the Salinas High School Ag Mechanics program had the unique opportunity to tour Advancetech’s aircraft maintenance facility in Salinas, where MPI Jet’s aircraft are serviced.

During their visit, students learned about the certifications and skills required to maintain and operate aircraft, and gained a firsthand look at a Cessna Citation, an aircraft that MPI Jet’s frequently uses to transport agricultural teams to destinations like Yuma Arizona. This experience gave students a real-world perspective on aviation operations and the career paths that make flight possible.

Experiences like these are essential in inspiring students to pursue careers in aviation, STEM, and aircraft maintenance. MPI Jet and Advancetech are proud support Embark, a nonprofit organization committed to removing barriers to STEM and aviation opportunities for individuals. Through scholarships, mentorship, and internships, Embark provides the tools individuals need to launch their journey—and MPI Jet is honored to support this mission through financial contributions, mentorship, and hands-on experiences.
